  • Halloween Parade – Thursday, October 29, 10:00 a.m.: Students will parade around the south side of the school, along the pickup and drop-off loop, across the front of the building, and toward the preschool doors so families can see students in their costumes.

  • Candy Donations: We are collecting wrapped candy donations for Trunk-or-Treat. The Candy Monster is located near the office, and donations can be dropped off throughout the month.

Halloween Costume Guidelines

We are looking forward to celebrating Halloween at Sierra Vista! Students may wear their costumes to school. To help keep the day safe and enjoyable for everyone, please follow a few simple guidelines:

  • No weapons or toy weapons of any kind.

  • No excessive gore, including dripping blood, exposed guts, or dismemberment.

  • Students may wear Halloween masks during designated activities, but they must remove them during instruction, recess, and lunch.

  • Costumes should allow students to participate safely in regular school activities, including walking through hallways, using the restroom, and playing at recess.

  • Costumes should follow our regular school expectations for appropriate clothing.

  • No inappropriate language, images, or messages.

Students may wear inflatable costumes, but they may need to remove or deflate them during certain activities for safety or practical reasons.

School staff may ask students to remove or adjust costume items that create a safety concern or interfere with learning.

Thank you for helping us make Halloween fun and safe for all our Hawks!
