Dear Sierra Vista Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year. I am honored to serve as the principal of Sierra Vista Elementary and excited to work alongside our students, families, and staff.
At Sierra Vista, we are committed to creating a school where students feel safe, supported, challenged, and connected. We believe students learn best when expectations are clear, relationships are strong, and families and school staff work together.
Elementary school matters. These are the years when students learn to read, write, solve problems, work with others, and build confidence as learners. Regular attendance, strong effort in class, and respectful behavior all help students make the most of each school day. Our staff takes that responsibility seriously. We want every student to feel safe, cared for, and challenged to do their best.
Throughout the year, we will use our school website, newsletters, and other communication tools to share important updates and information with families. Please do not hesitate to contact us when you have questions, concerns, or need support.
Krysti Jo Miller, our Dean of Students, and I are here to support students and families throughout the year. We are proud of Sierra Vista Elementary and look forward to a successful year together.
Sincerely,
Dr. Anthony Martinez
Principal
